Isaac Nader receives gold medal on Thursday

Portuguese Isaac Nader will receive the gold medal in the 1,500 meters at the Tokyo2025 World Championships on Thursday, after 6:10 pm local time (10:10 am in Lisbon), next to the National Stadium in the Japanese capital.

One day after becoming the 14th Portuguese medalist at the World Championships, having won the final, the 26-year-old Benfica middle-distance runner climbs to the podium of consecration, even though he had already had contact with the 'metal', for the images, still on the track and in the mixed zone.

The podium ceremonies, repeating the innovation created in Budapest 2023, will once again take place outside the stadium, before the evening's program, so that the consecration can be attended by a larger audience.
