Cuello receives support after suffering a serious injury and thanks Atlético fans

Atlético striker Cuello thanked fans for the messages he received on social media after suffering a serious injury in the game against Bolívar on Wednesday night (17), in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the South American.

The incident occurred around the 32nd minute. Atlético updated the athlete's medical record on social media, informing that surgery will be necessary.

"Forward Cuello was taken to Alemana Hospital in La Paz, where he underwent imaging tests that revealed a fractured fibula associated with a ruptured ligament in his left ankle. The athlete is already immobilized and receiving medication," the club announced.
