Gymnastics: Olympic champion in Paris jumps this weekend in Coimbra

Sport
Bryony Page, winner of the gold medal at the last Paris Olympic Games in trampolining, will compete this weekend in the Trampoline World Cup, which will take place at the Pavilhão Mário Mexia, in Coimbra. The British gymnast also won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) Olympic Games and won the bronze medal in Tokyo (Japan) in 2020. One of the interesting facts is that the athletes from the Gymnastics Section of the Coimbra Academic Association (SG/AAC) currently wear gymnastics uniforms designed by Bryony Page.
The Trampoline World Cup features 31 countries and 240 gymnasts from five continents. This is one of the six stages taking place this year on the circuit. Coimbra has always been included on the circuit since 2021. In parallel, the International Tournament takes place, with 60 teams taking part, including national and international clubs and district associations.
