On Tuesday night (13) Fortaleza hosted Atlético Bucaramanga at Arena Castelão, a match valid for the 5th round of the group stage of the Conmebol Libertadores. The match ended 0x0 and the lion is close to achieving its classification.

An interesting fact about Tuesday's match is that this was the first time Fortaleza faced a Colombian team at Arena Castelão in the Conmebol Libertadores. The other opponents in previous editions were Argentine, Chilean and Peruvian teams. This was the second match between the teams, as they recently faced each other in Colombia and the match ended in a draw.

With the draw, Fortaleza temporarily takes the lead in Group E with 8 points, depending only on itself to advance to the next phase of the South American competition. In the last round, Tricolor travels to Argentina to face Racing at the end of May.

Fortaleza returns to the field this Saturday (17) when the team travels to Rio de Janeiro to face Vasco in São Januário, a match valid for the 9th round of the Brazilian Championship. The ball rolls at 6:30 pm (Brasília time).
