F1: Romain Grosjean attends the São Paulo GP and visits the Haas team.

Former Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean was present this Friday (7) at the Interlagos racetrack, during the São Paulo Grand Prix weekend. The Frenchman, who competed in the category between 2009 and 2020, was welcomed by the Haas team, where he ended his F1 career.
Grosjean's visit drew attention in the pits, especially from Brazilian fans who remember him for his remarkable time at Haas and also for the serious accident he suffered at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, from which he escaped alive after his car caught fire. Since then, the driver has built a solid career in the United States, competing in the IndyCar Series and, more recently, in endurance and GT motorsport events.
In September of this year, Grosjean had completed a special test with Haas after five years away from Formula 1. Known for his charisma, the former driver took advantage of the day to visit the paddock, reunite with old colleagues, and closely observe the performance of the current generation of Formula 1 drivers.
Romain Grosjean's name is etched in recent Formula 1 history for the shocking accident at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, when his car split in two and caught fire after violently crashing into the guardrail on the very first lap.
The Frenchman was trapped in the flames for seconds, but managed to escape with burns to his hands and ankles, being rescued by the stewards and medical team in one of the most dramatic scenes in the category in recent decades. The episode symbolized the advancement of safety in F1 and transformed Grosjean into an example of overcoming adversity.
