Fortaleza missed a precious chance to secure early qualification for the next phase of the Libertadores. At the Arena Castelão packed with Laion fans, the team was unable to overcome a draw with Atlético Bucaramanga and disappointed its fans after two thrashing victories against Colo-Colo and Juventude .

Highlight - Breno Lopes was the star of the match, despite not scoring any goals. But he helped the Tricolor create chances and headed a ball off the post, almost guaranteeing Fortaleza a place in the knockout stages of the Libertadores.
