Cruzeiro beat Ferroviária (SP) 3-1 this Saturday at the Castor Cifuentes Stadium in Nova Lima (MG) in the 11th round of the Brazilian Women's Championship. Rafa Soares (own goal), Letícia Ferreira and Gaby Soares scored for Raposa, while Nat Vendito scored for the visiting team.

With the result, Cruzeiro shot to the top of the competition, now with 29 points. Thus, Raposa is closely followed by Ferroviária, which has 21. Then, Palmeiras and Flamengo appear, both with 20. Verdão, however, still plays in the round, visiting Inter on Monday (19). Fla beat Flu last Friday (16).

The Brasileirão Feminino has existed since 2013 and Corinthians is the biggest champion, after all, it has six titles, with five between 2020 and 2024. In this year's edition, in fact, Timão is in third, with 18 points. The list of biggest winners also includes Ferroviária (2), Rio Preto, Centro Olímpico, Flamengo and Santos, these with 1. Cruzeiro, therefore, is still looking for its first title.

The 2025 edition of the tournament is contested by 20 teams, who face each other in a single round. The top eight will advance to the quarterfinals, while the bottom two will be relegated. At the moment, they are 3B da Amazônia and Sport . In the next round, Cruzeiro visits Palmeiras on Thursday (22), at 4 pm, at Arena Barueri. Ferroviária, in turn, hosts Juventude on Wednesday (21).
