CBF launches new uniforms for the women's team; see photos

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released the new uniforms for the Brazilian women's team on Tuesday (13). The shirts are 100% developed for the women's team.

This is the third time that the organization, together with Nike, the supplier of the material, has launched an exclusive uniform for women. The first launch was in 2019 with the "Women Warriors of Brazil" collection. In 2023, the uniform was inspired by "Mother Nature". Now, the inspiration is from "Beauty Force".

This season's home kit, called "Domínio Brasileiro", celebrates Brazil's iconic yellow, green and blue colours. Yellow is the predominant colour, with green on the collar and sides. Blue is also present in details on the collar and shorts.

The second shirt, entitled "Bold Beauty", is blue with lime green details. The print has geometric patterns and organic shapes, such as rosettes of jaguars and silhouettes of tropical plants, which represent the interpretation of Brazilianness, according to the CBF.

The new shirt is scheduled to debut on May 30th in a friendly match against Japan, but it will only be on sale from June.

Arthur Elias called up the women's team for friendlies against Japan

Coach Arthur Elias also announced, this Tuesday (13), the athletes called up for the two friendlies against Japan. See the list below.

The women's team will face the Japanese on May 30, at 9:30 pm, at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo, and on June 2, at 8 pm, at Estádio Municipal Cícero de Souza Marques, in Bragança Paulista.

"Brazil and Japan are two countries that have a history of great unity in sport, of admiration, not only in football, but in other sports and culturally as well. They are people who came to Brazil and contributed a lot to our culture," he said.

The big news on the list is the return of Queen Marta, who had been off the list since the Olympics. "I met with Marta, I spoke to her recently, and she made herself available to help the Brazilian National Team, as long as she is performing at a high level, as she is. Marta has had a great season, she has been very important for her club, which is the champion of the American League", he explained.

Tickets for the first match between Brazil and Japan, at the Neo Química Arena, are available on the website selecaofeminina.soudaliga.com.br . Prices range from R$50 to R$100.
