Cantanhede: Club União Vilanovense facilities were vandalized

The football pitch of Club União Vilanovense (CUV) and its changing rooms, located in the Parque Desportivo do Paço (on Rua dos Outeiros, Vila Nova, Cantanhede), were the target of acts of vandalism, the club announced yesterday on Facebook.
According to a post on the social network, “the facilities are properly sealed and padlocked, which indicates that entry was made illegally and forcibly, resulting in material damage and disrespect for the CUV”.
According to the club, after detecting the damage, “a report was filed with the competent authorities”, with members of the GNR of Cantanhede being on site “to collect evidence and begin the necessary steps to identify those responsible”.
“This type of behavior has no place in a society that values sport, civility and respect for the common good,” the club highlights in the same publication.
