They have to win! Otherwise, they'll be fighting to stay up.

The PGE Ekstraliga is almost completely settled. Teams from Poznań and Rzeszów are battling for the final playoff spot.

The popular "Scorpions" must win at the Moto Arena in Łódź. Any other result will surely relegate them to the play-downs, where they will have to fight to stay in the league.

Even if they win, they still won't be certain of anything. They'll have to wait until Sunday, when the Rzeszów team hosts Polonia Bydgoszcz at home. Only a defeat for Paweł Piskorz's team will keep hope alive for fans from Greater Poland.

The rival has problems

PSŻ's Saturday opponent has had significant home-court problems this season. Orzeł has won just one home match! That came against Autona Unia Tarnów. They've lost all other matches.

In their last home match, they were defeated by a team from Ostrów Wielkopolski, decimated by injuries. Despite being without their two leaders (Luke Becker and Frederik Jakobsen), Kamil Brzozowski's players won 54-35.

This result could be called a major defeat for the team from Łódź.

Will he finally get a real chance?

Patrick Hansen is back in the Łódź team. The Dane returned to racing this season after a devastating back injury. He's only had three races so far this season!

During the last home meeting he went out on the track twice, but only... in nominated races.

The situation was supposed to be completely different, but as the competitor himself said, his performance was determined by... his starting kit.

In his first race he won quite unexpectedly, but in the next one he finished without a point.

It seems, however, that Hansen should get a chance on Saturday from his first race. The Łódź team's coach, Maciej Jąder, has nothing to lose, and preparing the athlete for this crucial phase of the season can only help.
