Mateusz Gamrot is not giving up! A recording has appeared. Will there be a fight with Justin Gaethje?

Mateusz Gamrot is at American Top Team, where he is preparing for his next challenge in the UFC cage. It is possible that such a challenge will come soon. "Gamer" has signed up to replace Dan Hooker in the fight with Justin Gaethje at UFC 313. A recording has appeared on the web, in which he directly demands a fight with "Highlight".

Let's recall that UFC 313 will take place on March 8 in Las Vegas. About two weeks before the gala, it became clear that one of the most anticipated fights would not take place. Hooker had to withdraw from the fight with Gaethje due to an injury. The search for an opponent for the American began. Gamrot announced his readiness to cross gloves with the 36-year-old.

The Pole first published a post on the X platform, in which he demanded a matchup with the former UFC interim champion, and then a recording featuring the fighter from Kudowa-Zdrój appeared on the American Top Team profile.

"UFC, I'm ready. I train very hard, give me a chance. I'll shock the f***ing world!" - said Gamrot.

It is not yet known what the chances are of this fight happening. The ball is in Gaethje's court. It is still not certain whether Gaethje will accept a replacement opponent or withdraw from the event.

Gamrot is looking to get back on track after his defeat by Hooker. The 34-year-old lost to the New Zealander by unanimous decision at UFC 305 last August. He is ranked eighth in the lightweight category by the American organization "Gamer".

Gaethje, on the other hand, is ranked third in the same classification. The 36-year-old is a former UFC interim lightweight champion. He last fought in April of last year at UFC 300. During the anniversary gala, he lost the BMF belt to Max Holloway, to whom he lost by knockout in the last second of the fifth round.

UFC 313 in March is shaping up to be a great event. The main event will feature a light heavyweight title fight. Champion Alex Pereira will defend his belt against Magomed Ankalaev.
