Juventus wants to sign the Polish international! Will it be a summer transfer hit?

Jan Bednarek and his move from relegated Southampton to the legendary FC Porto , with championship aspirations, was already a big and high-profile move for Polish footballers. However, it turns out that this summer could see even more interesting club changes among the Polish national team. This time, we're talking about another defender – Jakub Kiwior. A move away from England for the Pole? It's not out of the question.
Jakub Kiwior is in Juventus' crosshairs. Will the Pole cease to be a Gunner?Arsenal's 25-year-old Polish defender is considered one of the best, if not the best, defenders in the Polish national team. Kiwior joined the Gunners in 2023. Previously, the Polish player impressed with his potential at Serie A side Spezia. Interestingly, on the Italian Peninsula, Kiwior played not only as a central defender but also as a defensive midfielder.
It may turn out that the Pole will return to Italy again. This time, however, a high-profile move is expected from a major club eager to return to the top. Juventus, this "big player," would like to acquire Kiwior this summer. These reports come directly from journalists from the renowned daily "La Gazzetta dello Sport." Interestingly, Kiwior already had an offer from... FC Porto this summer. Ultimately, however, the Pole will not become Bednarek's teammate, as Arsenal rejected a loan offer with an obligation to buy of €27 million. This suggests that a transfer to Juventus, if it were to actually go through, could be worth as much as €30 million.
Will Kiwior end up in Turin? Much depends on what happens with another defender already playing for Juventus. Lloyd Kelly could leave Juventus, in which case the Turin club would be looking for a new defender, hence the idea of trying out for Kiwior. The Polish player isn't guaranteed regular playing time for the Gunners. Kiwior's chances have most often come during periods when other defenders have been injured. Juventus's investment of approximately €30 million would indicate that the Pole could count on much greater trust, and therefore, more consistent club appearances. Ultimately, this would also benefit the Polish national team.
It's worth noting that Wojciech Szczęsny was a Juventus player recently. However, the manner in which he parted ways with the goalkeeper was beyond criticism, and "Szczęsny" even hung up his boots for a few weeks. Ultimately, thanks to an offer from FC Barcelona, Szczęsny can still be seen on the big stage. Turin, however, still has another Pole, Arkadiusz Milik. However, the striker, struggling with serious health issues, is more likely to be on the way out of the Juventus squad, and his name has been linked with a transfer for some time. The destination? Unofficially, there was talk of AC Milan.
