Football. Pogoń trained without four stars before the camp in Opalenica

Without four key players, Pogoń began preparations for the new season of PKO BP Ekstraklasa. Coach Robert Kolendowicz announces that Efthymis Koulouris, Leonardo Koutris, Kamil Grosicki and Fredrik Ulvestad will join the preparations during the camp in Opalenica starting on Monday.
Grosicki played in the Poland Brazil legends match on Saturday, Ulvestd trained individually, and Koulouris and Kutris received additional days off due to family celebrations.
The first training sessions were attended by 25 players, including the first new player acquired, Jose Pozo. In addition to players already known from the Ekstraklasa, young players from the Pogoń Szczecin Academy also began preparations for the new season with the first team: Alex Pesković, Jakub Zawadzki, Jacek Czapliński, Sebastian Rojek, Kacper Berkowski, Natan Ława and Natan Waligóra. Our new player, Jose Pozo, is also working at full speed with the team. In addition, Rafał Kurzawa and Olaf Korczakowski, whom fans will not see in Pogoń colours in the upcoming season, have received permission to train with our team this week.
- It seems to me that we all came back eager to work. Vacation is important and the time we spend on vacation is extremely important to spend it in a way that allows us to rest. Seeing each other, seeing the staff and seeing the players, it seems to me that we all wanted to get back to work. That's why I'm glad that we can be on the pitch again - said coach Robert Kolendowicz in an interview with Pogoń FM.
In addition to Jose Pozo, who was acquired a dozen or so days ago, Senagalese Mor Ndiaye, a midfielder who recently played for Kallithea in Greece, should soon join Pogoń. According to the Pogoń Sport Net portal, the Szczecin club is also targeting 21-year-old defender Antonio Tikvic. The English Watford FC player was loaned to Austrian Grazer AK in January.
- We all want a strong Pogoń - the fans, the board, the players and we, the coaches. That is why we are looking for reinforcements. I am waiting for them like everyone else. This business is such that it takes time to close certain topics. We are in transfer communication with the players and I hope that we will close these topics - comments on transfers, coach Robert Kolendowicz.
