Start of Wimbledon tennis matches postponed due to rain

After heat records on the first days of Wimbledon, the Grand Slam tournament in London is struggling with rain on Wednesday morning. The start of the matches on the outdoor courts has been postponed by at least 45 minutes. The matches were originally scheduled to start at 11:00 (local time).
The organization expects that there will be play in the afternoon and evening. Botic van de Zandschulp will play his match in the second round against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Wednesday. It is the fourth and final match on court 3, an outdoor court.
