The inauguration of the LVI campaign, at the CUM

The Marcelino Champagnat Children's and Youth Soccer League will symbolically launch its 2025-26 season.

In operation since last week, the tournament organized by the Marist community will kick off its 56th campaign this Saturday at 5 p.m., with many objectives aimed at promoting football and human values.

With nearly 120 teams, the celebration will kick off at the Montejo University Center Auditorium, featuring players from the seed category, for those born in 2020, to the veteran category, for players up to 55 years of age.

Champagnat president Rodrigo Cueva G Cantón reported that there are two women's categories, playing 7-a-side football, and that matches for this season began last week.

This will be the second of four circuits inaugurated by the United Leagues of Yucatán group. The "Juan N. Cuevas" circuit, run by the Escuela Modelo school, started last Sunday, and the "Erick Díaz Palma" circuit, run by Rogers, and the "Patria" circuit, run by Patria, will begin next week.
