Rieleros defeats Saraperos and takes the series in Aguascalientes

A wild pitch in the ninth inning allowed Ángel Reyes to score the winning run as the Rieleros de Aguascalientes defeated the Saraperos de Saltillo 7-6, taking the series 2-1 at the Alberto Romo Chávez Stadium .
The duel had ups and downs for both teams. Rieleros opened the scoring in the second inning with a sacrifice fly by Luis Avilés Jr. , which allowed Christian Villanueva to score.
In the third inning, the home offense added three more runs. First, Alberto Rodríguez singled to center field that drove in Andretty Cordero and advanced Ángel Reyes to third. Then, Avilés Jr. produced again, this time with a grounder to left that brought Reyes and Rodríguez home, making the score 4-1.

But Saltillo responded immediately. In the fourth inning, Fabricio Macías tied the game with his fifth home run of the season, a three-run shot that drove in JP Martínez and Julian León .
Bobby Bradley then joined the party with his 12th home run, a two-run shot to center field that put the Saraperos ahead 6-4 in the top of the same inning.
The Rieleros tied the game again in the bottom of the fourth inning. Cordero hit a single to center that drove in José Lizárraga and Ángel Camacho , leaving the score at 6-6.
The score remained tied until the bottom of the ninth inning, when Patrick Weigel came on for Saltillo . With runners on base and one out, a wild pitch allowed Reyes to score the winning run and leave the visitors on the pitch.
With this victory, Aguascalientes secured a 2-1 series victory, while Saltillo returns home to prepare for its next series in the final stretch of the regular season.
