Aguascalientes Rieleros beat Saraperos 5-3 with Angel Reyes' home run and a key error in the outfield.

With a timely offensive and capitalizing on an error in the outfield, the Rieleros de Aguascalientes defeated the Saraperos de Saltillo 5-3 in the second game of the series played this Wednesday at the Alberto Romo Chávez Stadium , tying the series at one victory per side.
The home team took the lead in the third inning thanks to a home run by Ángel Reyes , who connected for his 30th home run of the season. The blast also brought home Andretty Cordero , making the score 2-0.
The Aguascalientes offense continued its work in the fourth inning. Luis Avilés Jr. hit a double to right field that drove in Christian Villanueva . In the same play, a throwing error by outfielder Brandon Villarreal allowed Avilés to advance to third. Then, Kelvin Melean brought the runner home with a single to center field, extending the lead to 4-0.

The Rieleros added one more in the fifth inning. With runners on, Villanueva hit into a double play, but Cordero scored from third, making the score 5-0.
Saltillo reacted until the sixth inning. With two outs, Jonathan Araúz hit a single that allowed Roberto Ramos to score, while Bobby Bradley advanced to third and Jeferson Morales to second. The offensive continued in the seventh: Bradley hit an RBI single to drive in Villarreal , bringing the Saraperos within 5-2. Morales subsequently drew a walk and the bases loaded, but they did not achieve any further damage.
In total, Saltillo left several runners on base during the final three innings without being able to tie the game. The work of the Aguascalientes bullpen was key in stemming the comeback attempts.
With this result, the series will be decided in the third game scheduled for this Thursday, where both teams will look to maintain the lead in this final stretch of the regular season.
