Sunrise Run, the dawn race in Forte dei Marmi

Forte dei Marmi (Lucca), July 12, 2025 – Around 200 runners gathered at the crack of dawn for this evocative non-competitive race, starting and finishing on the famous Forte dei Marmi pier. This special race, starting at sunrise, gave participants the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy a still-sleeping city, traversing it in the quiet of dawn.

An opportunity to admire the most enchanting views of one of Italy's most renowned seafronts, sharing the pleasure of a leisurely run together, breathing in the fresh morning air. The participants included new faces, not just the usual racers: people came from all over for a different experience, many accompanied by their four-legged friends. All in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, where the desire to be together surpassed all other goals. The event was organized by the GP Parco Alpi Apuane, in collaboration with the Compagnia della Vela di Forte dei Marmi, and under the patronage of the Municipality.
