Serie D: Prato native Lorenzo Chiti signs with Tau Altopascio.

Prato, July 17, 2025 – Last season, he scored three goals in 34 Serie D games for Luparense, also playing as a defensive midfielder. And while he hasn't received a call from Serie C, Lorenzo Chiti has at least gotten closer to home: the 2001-born defender from Prato has left Veneto to sign with Tau Altopascio. He can build on last year's strong performance: thanks in part to his contribution, the Padua-based club finished eighth in Serie D Group C. As mentioned, the twenty-four-year-old has also played a few games in midfield, revealing a versatility that could certainly be an advantage as he continues his career. His trophy cabinet includes two Coppa Italia Primavera titles won while playing for Fiorentina's youth team, although he has never had the opportunity to debut for the club's first team. However, he had already played 20 times in Serie C, making his professional debut with Aquila Montevarchi a few seasons ago.
