Lecce has secured the services of Chilean defender Matias Perez, born in 2005. The young player, who has been transferred from Curico Unido, a team in Chile's second division, will arrive in Lecce tomorrow to undergo a medical before joining coach Di Francesco's squad, which will depart next Monday for a training camp in Bressanone. Perez, a member of the Chilean Under-20 national team, is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Salento club, with an option for a further season, including bonuses tied to his future.
