Atalanta, no problem for Djimsiti and Toloi: both available against Venezia

Gian Piero Gasperini, coach of the Goddess
Bergamo, 25 February 2025 – Good news for the Atalanta defence. Let it be Berat Djimsi you that Rafael Toloi are fine and this afternoon, when training resumed at the Zingonia sports center, they worked regularly with Gasperini's group . Both defenders had left the Castellani pitch injured on Sunday, in the match won 5-0 against Empoli.
Djimsiti appeared more worrying, forced to ask to be substituted in the 63rd minute after a twisted ankle that raised fears of a possible relapse after the sprain suffered in Udine at the beginning of January. The 32-year-old Albanian defender had however reassured everyone by leaving, albeit limping and in pain, choosing not to return to the locker room early but remaining on the bench with an ice pack on his foot.
Toloi then asked to be substituted towards the end of the match, after a tough clash during the game, even though in the end the Nerazzurri captain remained in his place until the final whistle.
Both will be there on Saturday in the home game at Gewiss against Venezia . Daniel Maldini is also likely to recover , having been out for two weeks due to a strain on his long adductor, but he did individual work today: the 23-year-old Milanese striker should still return to the group during the week and should also be among those called up for Saturday's match against the Lagunari.
