The Dane, who this year moved from Alpecin-Deceuninck to Lidl-Trek , will have to wait a few more months for his debut with the new jersey due to a benign pseudotumor in the scrotal region that was surgically removed in recent days. Now Kragh Andersen begins a rehabilitation process that will see him engaged exclusively in running, swimming and gym sessions and therefore without the bike for a while to avoid contact with the saddle. The comment of the '94 class, a professional since 2016 and who in his career has won the world title in the team time trial, in 2018 the Paris-Tours and in 2020 two stages at the Tour de France , in addition to having collected several good placings in particular in the Milan-Sanremo (the fifth place in 2023 stands out in particular), was not long in coming. "It's a huge disappointment not to be able to join the team for this important first part of the season, but the priority was to resolve my medical issue. There is still a lot of work to do before I can make my debut with my new team, but I am very motivated to get back to top form and then support the team for the rest of the season."
