Things are getting serious for a Tour de France peloton, which is tackling the first mountain stage between Auch and Hautacam on Thursday.

The mountains and the Pyrenees are the order of the day for the 12th stage of the Tour de France this Thursday. The peloton will meet between Auch and Hautacam, expecting a harrowing first major mountain stage. The start will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Gers region, with the general classification set to be shaken up.
