Tour de France: Pogacar calls for an end to attacks on Johannessen, responsible for his fall

After the incident that occurred during the 11th stage, the Slovenian champion chose to calm things down. He asked fans to stop sending hateful messages toward the Uno-X rider, while keeping a smile on his face.
By Le ParisienTadej Pogacar has chosen to calm things down. Victim of a crash on Wednesday in the final of the 11th stage of the Tour de France, after an unfortunate gap from Norwegian Tobias Johannessen , the Slovenian was quick to turn the page... while calling on his supporters to do the same.
While the Uno-X rider apologized at the finish line and then on social media, explaining that he had been "terrified" by the number of hateful messages and threats he had received since the incident, Pogacar responded in a video relayed by his teammate Tim Wellens.
A kind and resentful message: "Hey, man, everything's fine. No stress. I hope people stop picking on you. There's nothing to worry about. Keep up the good work," said the Slovenian, smiling.
A strong gesture, accompanied by an implicit reminder: the tension of the Tour does not excuse verbal violence. In the background, his teammate Jhonatan Narvaez added a touch of humor to close the sequence: "But keep your line, eh!", a reference to the gap that caused the crash.
