Tour de France 2025: the route of the second stage

For the second stage of the 2025 Tour de France, on Sunday, July 6, the peloton remains in Hauts-de-France, moving from east to west towards the English Channel, through the Pas-de-Calais department.
This 209.1-kilometer stage, which will actually start at 12:35 p.m., is the longest of the Grande Boucle this year. Along the way, the riders will have to face two category 3 difficulties: the Côte du Haut-Pichot (1.1 kilometers at 9.4%), then the Côte de Saint-Etienne-au-Mont (1 kilometer at 10.6%). These two short climbs will be framed on the course by two category 4 difficulties, the Côte de Cavron-Saint-Martin (1.1 kilometers at 5.9%), halfway through, and the Côte d'Outreau (800 meters at 8.8%), in the finale, less than 10 kilometers from the finish. The latter is judged at the top of a severe climb of more than 1 kilometer.
This hilly profile could suit punchers or sprinters capable of crossing the various bumps that the course offers.
