The leaders of some 71 associations participating in the Associations Forum were in high demand on Sunday, particularly in the morning. Focus on five stands.

1 Projects at Azzurra

They donned magnificent folk costumes. The club dedicated to Italy, still chaired by Rose Chrétien, welcomed many people to the forum. "In particular, people who want to join our association to take part in our popular Italian language courses. The establishment of folk dance classes is also planned," the director explains.

2 A first for children aged 4 to 18

EMonSport, a support program for children and adolescents with disabilities designed to promote inclusion in the sports environment in the Gulf of Saint Tropez region, participated in the Maximois forum for the very first time. "We were in Cavalaire on Saturday and in Sainte-Maxime on Sunday. We are here to present our various initiatives for children aged 4 to 18," explains Marc Di Mello.

3 Yoga Humanis diversifies

One of the other new associations. The president, also a yoga teacher, Céline Michalet, offers yoga and Pilates classes. The club currently has around a hundred members. The manager also organizes sporting events. "We take advantage of this to donate to associations like "La Main tendue" or Link Humanit'Aire."

4 The AVFs still in great shape

With 762 members, the local branch of the AVF (Accueil des villes françaises) is one of the largest associations. The AVF will elect its new president in October. André Dias, who will be promoted within the regional entity, will step down at the general meeting.

5 New association at the... Pointe!

WSL Ving Tsun Kung Fu is a new association founded in April. Due to a lack of a venue at the moment, president-coach Alexandre Nasso is holding sessions at Pointe des Sardinaux on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Training is also possible at Plan-de-la-Tour on Tuesdays (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.) at the Foyer des Campagnes.
