Golf: Gautier Godet and Jade Stoltz musketeer champions in Périgueux

Eleven Périgourdins improved their index this Sunday, during the traditional Intermarché competition. Most of them came from the golf school.
On Sunday, 93 participants from across the department were present for the competition organized by 18 Intermarché de Dordogne, in singles, with Christian Petit at the helm. Already winner of the Team Cup and the Mid Amateur Grand Prix at the end of August, Gautier Godet (index + 1.0) remained in control on his Périgueux course. With six birdies on the outward journey and eight pars on the return journey to secure a card at -3, he leaves Thierry Letang (index 6.7) nine strokes behind, with two birdies and eleven pars. Théo Fonmarty and César Raynaud, 14 years old, a hopeful from Chiberta, share 3rd place in gross.
In net, Lucas Théodore and Guillaume Aizes, the Pitch & Putt champion, won with two birdies and eight pars each, ahead of Frédéric Huteau. In the 2nd gross series, Pierre Bertaud du Chazaud and Olivier Berthod confirmed, with two very consistent cards. In net, Didier Massaloux (index 19.6), back from injury, opened the doors to the 1st Series with a card of 42 points. In the 3rd Series, Stéphane Granger (45 points), Clément Dezon (43) and Laurent Ardoin (42) are aiming for the 2nd Series at the end of the season. In the women's competition, the Périgord hopeful, Jade Stoltz (index 4.4) was difficult to follow, with three birdies on the outward journey, six pars and another birdie to finish.
