A correction. Ireland crushed Portugal (106-7) this Saturday in Lisbon, with 16 tries and a record margin of victory in their history. It's even the first time the Irish have surpassed the symbolic 100-point mark. It's also the first time they've scored 16 tries in a single match. However, Ireland was without several players, retained with the Lions for the tour of Australia. Alas, there was too much quality for Portugal, who were swept aside. Note that Ireland relied on 11 different scorers for their 16 tries, plus one penalty try. Winger Tommy O'Brien and number 8 Cian Prendergast scored twice. Jack Crowley kicked 11 conversions.

This friendly match was the last of the season for Ireland, who beat Georgia 34-5 last weekend.
