OGC Nice and Al-Diraiyah FC (Saudi D2) have reached an agreement for Gaëtan Laborde

The two clubs have agreed on a transfer estimated at between 4 and 5 million euros, which is well on its way to completion.

Gaëtan Laborde, who was reportedly offered a long-term contract by the Saudi D2 team, arrived at Gym in 2022 from Stade Rennais, while Amine Gouiri made the opposite journey.

A reliable and consistent goalscorer, the Mont-de-Marsan native has played 118 matches with OGC Nice over three seasons, scoring 33 goals (including 11 last season) and providing 11 assists.

His emoluments (the highest in the dressing room until this season) no longer corresponded to the scale practiced by OGC Nice, which in addition to recovering a handsome compensation for a player at the end of his contract, is also moving forward in its desire to reduce its wage bill.
