Associations Forum: a successful return to Croix-Valmer

After a year of absence, the traditional Associations Forum made its grand return on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event was held in both the Voli Hall and the Constantin Forum, bringing together a wide range of local associations. Organized by the Environment Department in close collaboration with the Events Department, the event was a resounding success, attracting a large audience and new members.

The associations present could be grouped into four main families as follows.

Solidarity and mutual aid

From the Lions Club of Ramatuelle, a loyal partner of the Pink October charity evening, to the Family Association which is already preparing its next flea market on September 28, via the Club des Six welcoming people with disabilities, the Oustaou dei Agapanthes supporting residents of the nursing home or even the Blood Donors, many were the people involved in serving others.

Leisure and sport

There was also no shortage of options for those who enjoy social and sporting activities. ACTA (Amicale Croisienne du Troisième Ager), Esperança and its Portuguese specialties, Les Amis de La Croix-Valmer, the Musical Ensemble which will launch its courses on September 15, the Tragos de Cavalaire for theater enthusiasts, not to mention the tennis and football clubs (RC La Baie).

Culture and heritage

The Aristide Fabre Archaeological Association attracted those interested in heritage, while the twinning committee was already planning its next exchanges with Gambassi Terme.

Public institutions and initiatives

The municipal cultural service presented its many activities at the Espace des Bruyères, and the community of communes raised awareness about recycling waste and bottle caps, and even lent glasses for community events. The CCFF (Municipal Forest Fire Committee) was delighted to have attracted new volunteers.

In the new products section

Two new associations have also appeared: Savate Boxe Française / Kali, led by Éric, which will offer French boxing and Filipino martial arts, and Petitspectaclesetgrandcoeur, relaunched by Michèle, with introductory theater workshops for children and adults.
