The young star of the Yellows quarry, just 23 years old , suffered a severe head injury for which he had to undergo emergency surgery and after which he continued for 16 days under specialized medical care.

The Gran Canaria club, which has specified that Ramos was unable to overcome the serious injuries sustained after the accident, has "deeply regretted" the death and has extended its condolences to the family, friends, teammates, and all those who shared the path with Zeben Ramos during his sporting career.

Following this tragic event, the island club confirms that "the entire yellow family joins in the grief of the loss of Zeben," a person who will " always be in the heart of UD Las Palmas."
