PSG signs Olga Carmona, the hero of the Spanish women's national team.

Full-back Olga Carmona became a new player for Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, signing a three-year contract with the club, which lasted until 2028, after leaving Real Madrid five years after her signing, the French club confirmed in a statement.
"Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Olga Carmona. The Spanish international defender has signed a three-year contract with the capital club," the club announced on its website .
Carmona, 25, came through the Sevilla FC youth system and began her professional career in the 2016-2017 season, at the age of 16, in the Second Division. That first year, she contributed to the club's promotion to the top flight of Spanish women's football.
The following season, the Spaniard excelled, playing 25 matches and scoring 5 goals, quickly becoming a key player for the Seville team. In 2020, she left Sevilla FC to join Real Madrid .
With Real Madrid, she accumulated a total of 186 matches, 28 goals, and 25 assists, and became the team's captain in her final season. Now, she joins the Parisian club, "recognized for her consistency and impact in important matches," according to a PSG statement.
On the international stage, the defender made history with her national team by scoring the decisive goal in the 2023 World Cup final , giving Spain its first World Cup title. With over 40 caps, Carmona also won the 2024 Nations League with Spain.
