Casadó's last-minute withdrawal led to Dani Olmo's inclusion in the starting eleven, forming a midfield alongside De Jong and Fermín. In the usual Barcelona midfield structure, Olmo played as a holding midfielder, or in other words, the midfielder closest to the defensive midfielder. Despite his distinctly attacking profile, Olmo had a remarkable game. He recorded 93 touches in 86 minutes, completing 65 of 76 passes, two of three clearances, three key passes, and three shots. He contributed to the team's build-up play and organization.
