These decisions can be made in the Bundesliga
Whether it's the championship, Champions League qualification, or a relegation battle, the Bundesliga's decisions are approaching. Some facts could be decided as early as matchday 32.
Matchday 32 in the Bundesliga offers plenty of excitement. For some clubs, the stakes are particularly high. An overview:
title fightFC Bayern has the second match point . A win at RB Leipzig on Saturday (May 3, 2025; 3:30 p.m.) would secure the 34th title in history.
The other possibility: If Bayer 04 Leverkusen loses to SC Freiburg the following day, the Munich team would become champions on their home sofa, regardless of how they played in Leipzig.
If Munich draws in Saxony, the Werkself will probably not be able to get more than a draw on Sunday (5.30pm), which would also determine the winner of the season.
Qualification for the Champions LeagueFC Bayern and Bayer 04 Leverkusen have already safely qualified for the European premier class.
Eintracht Frankfurt can also qualify for the Champions League early: Even a draw in Mainz is enough if Leipzig loses and Dortmund doesn't win. A win for the Hesse team virtually guarantees at least fourth place.
If Leipzig does not win against Bayern or Freiburg loses against Leverkusen, Frankfurt's second Champions League participation after 2022/23 is also mathematically 100 percent certain.
Otherwise, Mainz 05, Dortmund, Leipzig and Freiburg are still fighting for the coveted participation in the Champions League, without a decision being made early on.
Who can save themselves?1899 Hoffenheim could only celebrate survival with a win at Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.) if 1.FC Heidenheim does not win at the same time.
FC St. Pauli would be saved if the "Kiezkickers" managed a home victory against VfB Stuttgart (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.) and 1.FC Heidenheim did not win at the same time.
descentVfL Bochum already has one foot over the edge. A defeat at 1. FC Heidenheim on Friday evening (8:30 p.m.) would put the Ruhr region club out of the running and would be relegated. Otherwise, however, VfL could still hope.
