Silver for Mihambo! Long jumper wins first German World Championship medal
Malaika Mihambo continues to expand her impressive medal collection. The 31-year-old celebrates silver in the thrilling long jump final at the World Athletics Championships.
In the warm and humid climate, just as at last year's Olympic Games in Paris, she was defeated only by Tara Davis-Woodhall of the USA. The world champion jumped a strong 7.13 meters. Bronze went to Colombian Natalia Linares with 6.92 meters.
