WNBA star Elizabeth Kitley sparks frenzy by going 'naked' at press conference

Elizabeth Kitley caught the eyes of those on social media as photos of her introductory press conference with the Las Vegas Aces went viral for appearing to show her topless.

Kitley was drafted by the Aces last year and was inactive for her first season with the team due to an ACL injury.

Kitley's contract, which was signed earlier this month, was deferred from last season, only giving her the chance to have an introduction with the team on Tuesday.

In reality, Kitley is wearing a strapless top, which does expose her from the upper chest, even if the viral photo makes the WNBA look more X-rated than it hopes to be.

Kitley saw the commotion about the photos of her and commented on it on her own social media.

'Excellent execution by me,' Kitley said on Instagram.

Kitley was introduced in Las Vegas alongside Jewell Lloyd, the Team USA star from the Olympics who was acquired by the Aces in a blockbuster trade earlier this year.

Kitley is expected to play the post role behind arguably the league's best player, A'ja Wilson, as she stands 6-foot-6.

She was a three-time All-American at Virginia Tech before entering the WNBA Draft last year.

Kitley received the rare honor of having her No 33 retired by the Hokies earlier in 2025.

The center will wear the same jersey number as she prepares to make her professional debut with the Aces in a few months.
