Watch Canadians compete at the World Athletics Championships

Canada's Maeliss Trapeau will run in the women's 800-metre semifinals, which start at 7:43 a.m. ET.
Trapeau placed third in her opening-round heat today to automatically advance, while Jazz Shukla was eliminated after finishing sixth in her heat.
Canadian Moh Ahmed is no longer listed as a starter in the men's 5,000m heats, beginning at 7 a.m. ET. The 2021 Olympic silver medallist dropped out of last weekend's 10,000m race with about 2K left due to a calf injury.
No Canadians are involved in the other finals on Day 7: the men's triple jump at 7:50 a.m. ET, men's 400m hurdles at 8:15 a.m. ET and women's 400m hurdles at 8:27 a.m. ET.
The decathlon, featuring Canadians Damian Warner and Pierce LePage, and the women's shot put, with Canada's Sarah Mitton, get underway on Friday night in Canadian time zones.
