Tullamore and Portlaoise to host Leinster SFC semi-finals

The venues for the Leinster SFC semi-finals have been confirmed.

Glenisk O'Connor Park will host Louth v Kildare, while Dublin and Meath will face off in the other last-four tie at Laois Hire O'Moore Park. Both ties will be played on Sunday, April 27 at 2pm and 4pm respectively.

There is some disquiet among Louth supporters at having to travel to Tullamore rather than Páirc Tailteann, but O'Connor Park's greater capacity by 7,000 was the deciding factor. It is the first time in 30 years that both Leinster semi-finals will not be played at Croke Park.
