Former Manchester United player Gordon Strachan has urged the club to cut ties with keeper Andre Onana.

"When I've been successful anywhere, I've had goalkeepers with personality and presence," he told OLGB. "Will it be a physical presence, a personality presence that is always needed in the team.

“I don't think Andre Onana has either. I don't think he's got a physical presence or this personality presence. He looks like he's constantly at war with himself, worrying about a mistake and he might have to go somewhere else to get confidence back."

Liverpool are expected to all but complete negotiations to sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike today.

According to Sky Germany, the star has all but agreed personal terms. The Reds have submitted a written offer to Frankfurt.

Arsenal are on the verge of signing Salford wonderkid Will Wright.

According to the The Athletic, the 17-year-old is expected to join and then represent the club's Under-17 and Under-21 sides. He has been prolific at youth level for Salford, who are owned by members of the Class of '92.
