The 2025 All-Star Gaelic Football Team With One Game To Go

With just one game to go in this year's All-Ireland Gaelic football championship, we now have a clearer idea as to who will claim places in the 2025 All-Star team.
All-Ireland finalists Donegal and Kerry are likely to make up the bulk of the side, although a number of other counties could have representatives after strong individual and team campaigns.
This side could still change off the back of Sunday's final, but here's how we view the 2025 All-Star Gaelic football team as things stand.

GAA: The 2025 All-Star Gaelic Football Team With One Game To Go 1. Rory Beggan (Monaghan)There have been some top class goalkeepers in 2025, but few of them have thrived in the new rules as much as Rory Beggan.
The Scotstown man was the key cog in the Monaghan team, even being dubbed as the most dangerous player in the sport by former Roscommon boss Davy Burke.
2. Brendan McCole (Donegal)Brendan McCole has been in supreme form throughout this year's championship, usually being handed the unenviable task of man-marking the opposition's most dangerous forward.
You would imagine he will do so once again this weekend, with his effort to stop David Clifford likely to go a long way towards deciding the outcome of the All-Ireland final.
3. Sean Rafferty (Meath)The driving force behind Meath's success in this year's championship, it is difficult to overlook Sean Rafferty for the fullback spot in this team.
Rafferty was in remarkable form throughout the summer, man marking the star opposition forward and even popping up with a point or two at the other end of the pitch.
4. Peadar Mogan (Donegal)Donegal's only All-Star representative in 2024, Peadar Mogan looks nailed on to make the team once again this year.
The St Naul man is equally as important in attack as defence, often acting as the launchpad for those famed Donegal counterattacks.
5. Michael McKernan (Tyrone)The standout performer for Tyrone this season, Michael McKernan would score 2-17 from wingback in league and championship play.
His inclusion would mark the first All-Star nod of his inter-county career.
6. Mike Breen (Kerry)A lynchpin in the middle third for Kerry, Mike Breen has put together the finest season of his career up to this point.
His kick passing has been a key aspect of the quick transition game plan under Jack O'Connor in 2025.
7. Ciaran Caulfield (Meath)Perhaps the standout player in a brilliant year for Meath, it would be disappointing to see Ciaran Caulfield miss out on an All-Star.
His form during his breakout season would certainly be deserving of the honour.
8. Joe O'Connor (Kerry)Another player in the midst of a true breakout season, Joe O'Connor has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the country in 2025.
Having benefitted majorly from the recent rules changes, the Austin Stacks man will look to cap off a fine campaign by winning an All-Ireland medal this weekend.
9. Michael Langan (Donegal)A scoring tally of of 1-23 from play is a remarkable return for a midfielder, with Michael Langan the fourth highest scorer from play in this year's championship.
The St Michael's star has certainly taken his game to the next level since the return of Jim McGuinness.
10. Oisín Conaty (Armagh)Armagh will have been disappointed to only reach the All-Ireland quarter-finals during their Sam Maguire defence, but it is difficult to overlook Oisín Conaty in this team.
Having been named Young Footballer of the Year in 2024, he has made massive strides forward this year. He produced some magnificent performances in this season's championship, including a six-point display in the Ulster final.
11. Sean O'Shea (Kerry)Sean O'Shea has been slow to get going in 2025, but his quality has certainly been on display in recent weeks.
His 0-12 display against Armagh in the quarter-final was one of the standout performances in this year's championship, with his scoring tally standing at 1-44 heading into this weekend's final.
12. Rob Finnerty (Galway)While the 2025 championship would prove to be an underwhelming one for Galway, Rob Finnerty justified his spot in this team with a number of top class performances.
His scoring tally of 3-40 in this year's championship is bettered only by David Clifford.
13. David Clifford (Kerry)Speaking of David Clifford, the Fossa man is a certainty to win the sixth All-Star of his inter-county career in 2025.
This has arguably been the finest season of his career to date, scoring a ridiculous 8-53 in this year's championship (8-39 from play). That is 28 points more than any other player, with one massive game still to come this weekend.
14. Michael Murphy (Donegal)Michael Murphy's return to inter-county football has arguably been the biggest story in 2025, with the Glenswilly man immediately reestablishing himself as one of the best players in the country.
He is a certain All-Star, while a Donegal win this weekend could make him the frontrunner to win the Footballer of the Year award.
15. Jordan Morris (Meath)The third Meath player to be included in this side, Jordan Morris produced a number of memorable moments throughout this year's championship.
His display in the quarter-final victory over Galway was a particular highlight, ending the game with a personal tally of 1-6. What made his form all the more remarkable was that Morris suffered an ACL injury earlier this year.
