With the men's inter-county GAA season having officially come to a close this weekend, focus around the country is set to quickly switch towards club championship season.

Club championships in both codes have already gotten underway in many counties, with the fixtures set to come thick and fast over the coming weeks and months.

Some big name players will be in action for their clubs during the upcoming weekend. With that in mind, here are ten of the best GAA club games to keep an eye out for this week.

The 10 Best Club GAA Games This Weekend Gaelic Football Meath SFC

St Peters' Dunboyne vs Skryne - Thursday 31st July (7.30pm), Páirc Tailteann

Rathkenny vs Dunshaughlin - Saturday (6pm), Páirc Tailteann

Defending champions Dunshaughlin will get their title defence underway on Saturday evening, taking on Rathkenny in Navan.

Prior to that, Dunboyne and Skryne will kick off the weekend's action with a clash at the same venue on Thursday evening.

Roscommon SFC

Elphin vs St Brigids - Friday August 1st (7.30pm), Orchard Park

Boyle vs Roscommon Gaels - Friday August 1st (7.30pm), Abbey Park

Roscommon powerhouses St Brigid's will get their championship campaign underway on Friday evening at 7.30pm, taking on recently promoted Elphin.

Elsewhere in the county as the same time, 2024 finalists Roscommon Gaels will face 2022 & 2023 finalists Boyle.

Offaly SFC

Rhode vs Ferbane - Friday (7.30pm), Rhode

The clash between Rhode and Ferbane is the standout fixture in Offaly this weekend, with the county's most successful club hosting the 2019 winners.

Hurling Cork Premier SHC

Fr O'Neills vs Sarsfields - Friday (7.30pm), Carrigtwohill

Erin's Own vs Glen Rovers - Saturday (5.30pm), Páirc Uí Rinn

There will be a few All-Ireland finalists on show in Cork this weekend, with a full round of hurling championship fixtures set to take place.

2023 winners Sarsfields will take on Fr O'Neills, while Glen Rovers will face Erin's Own in two of the standout fixtures.

Limerick SHC

Killmallock vs Patrickswell - Thursday (7pm), Newcastle West

Doon vs Na Piarsaigh - Saturday (7pm), Kilmallock

The standout club fixture in the country will take place in Limerick on Saturday evening, with powerhouses Doon and Na Piarsaigh set to face off in a repeat of the 2024 final.

Elsewhere, 2023 finalists Patrickswell will face 2021 winners Kilmallock on Thursday evening.

Kerry SHC final

Ballyduff vs Abbeydorney - Sunday (3.30pm), Austin Stack Park

While most club championships around the country are only getting underway, Kerry will actually play the final of their hurling championship this weekend.

The fixture will be repeat of the 2024 decider, with Abbeydorney aiming for a second successive title when they take on Ballyduff.
