Roscommon managerial search "at an advanced stage"

A new Roscommon senior football manager could be appointed within the next week.
RoscommonHerald.ie reported last night that the process to find Davy Burke’s successor is now “at an advanced stage”, as the Rossies look for a new supremo to steer their ship for 2026.
Burke stepped down at the end of June after three years at the helm, having succeeded Anthony Cunningham in the role and previously managed Wicklow’s seniors after having leading his native Kildare to All-Ireland U20 glory in 2018.
Stephen Rochford, Frankie Dolan and Mark McHugh have been some of the names linked with the Roscommon vacancy since Burke’s departure.
