McGeeney mulling over Armagh future

Kieran McGeeney admits his future as Armagh manager is up in the air after yesterday’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Kerry.
After 11 seasons in charge and the Orchard County’s reign as All-Ireland champions at an end, McGeeney has a big decision to make over the coming days and weeks.
“Ah, it’s hard to know,” he said of his Armagh future when the question was put to him by reporters at Croke Park.
"I sit down every year [to reflect], and my thing is always about players. It's all about the players first and foremost, and what they want and how much they want to push on.
"My appetite for football has always been the same. I love it, I enjoy it despite the abuse, it's just one of those things - maybe it's an addiction. I haven't even thought about that [the future], to be honest."
The All-Ireland winning manager and captain cited Kerry’s midfield dominance as key to their stunning 14-point salvo in as many minutes during the second half.
"We had 11 out of our 13 kick-outs we lost," he ruefully reflected.
"It's one of those days. Seanie (O’Shea), no matter what he hit, was putting them over and everybody else was joining.
"It's 15 minutes you'd like to forget, but it happens in sport. We've done it to other teams, so you have to take it on the chin and move on."
