Imagine having to mark one of this famous trio in a junior ‘B’ game?
With 26 All-Ireland SHC medals between them, Eoin Larkin, JJ Delaney and Jackie Tyrrell lined out in yesterday’s Kilkenny JHC ‘B’ quarter-final between James Stephens and Fenians.
Playing in their home pitch, Stephens won by 2-26 to 3-7, but the big talking point was the involvement of the three Kilkenny legends who are still going strong more than a decade on for the Cats’ golden era.
