F1 LIVE: Max Verstappen’s next team becomes clearer as Aston Martin confirm paddock rumour
Talk between last weekend's race in Bahrain and this weekend's trip to Saudi Arabia has been dominated by Max Verstappen's Red Bull future. The four-time world champion could leave the team three years before the end of his contract due to performance-related break clauses which, on the basis of their poor start to the season, look likely to come into play.
The Verstappen saga provides a tasty backdrop for the ongoing Drivers' Championship fight which has shaped up nicely over the first few weeks of the season. Lando Norris leads the way for McLaren, but team-mate Oscar Piastri is only three points behind, while Verstappen and George Russell are also within touching distance.
