Dublin V Derry: How To Watch, TV Info, Team News

Dublin V Derry: How To Watch, TV Info, Team News

When the draw for the All-Ireland SFC was made, Group 4 was instantly labelled as the Group of Death, and so far it has lived up to the billing.

Dublin and Derry meet this Saturday night, knowing that defeat for either side could spell the end of their championship campaigns.

Dublin will progress to the preliminary quarter-finals so long as they avoid defeat or if Galway fail to win against Armagh. A win for Derry will see them progress to the preliminary quarter-finals, but a draw will also be enough if Armagh beat Galway.

Derry haven't won a championship game in seventy minutes since their victory over Westmeath almost a year on from Saturday night's fixture.

Dublin manager Dessie Farrell said his side would be having serious conversations after their lacklustre performance in front of goal against Armagh, as they kicked 17 wides.

Dessie Farrell’s side missed their chief marksman, Con O’Callaghan in their loss against Armagh last time out, so will be keen to get the All-Ireland club Championship winner with Cuala back on the field to help them secure safe passage to the knockout stages.

Derry, too, can call on a pivotal returnee on the bench, with All-Star Conor McCluskey recovered from injury and named in the 26.

Goalkeeper is the only position to change in the starting XV, with Odhran Lynch in for Ben McKinless.
