Bonner linked with Fermanagh vacancy

Erne Gaels Belleek manager Declan Bonner is being linked with the current Fermanagh senior football managerial vacancy.
Fermanagh have been on the lookout for a new supremo since Kieran Donnelly confirmed his departure on Monday following four years in charge of the team.
DonegalLive.ie has since reported that “Fermanagh GAA have made Declan Bonner their number one target” to succeed Donnelly in the role.
The former Donegal boss led Erne Gaels to a first Fermanagh senior football championship triumph in 43 years last October.
Right now, Bonner’s focus is on securing more silverware with the Gaels as they gear up for another Division 1 league final battle with Derrygonnelly Harps following a decision from the county board on Wednesday night to order the match to be replayed after late two-pointers in the game were deemed to be “incorrectly recorded”.
After that, Bonner’s men will be gearing up for their senior championship title defence as they look to try and retain the New York Gold Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
