'Didn't know we're after jumping into the car with a seven-time All-Ireland winner'

Former Dublin football star Eoghan O'Gara has been praised for getting two hitchhikers to the Fleadh Cheoil in Wexford over the weekend.
Brandon Cassidy and his friend had failed in their efforts to get a taxi from Curracloe to Wexford, only for O'Gara to save the day, just as he had done on many occasions during his illustrious playing career with the Dubs.
The powerful target man and super-sub won seven All-Ireland SFC medals. He is now based in the Model County and helped his adopted Shelmaliers to a Wexford SFC title after switching allegiances from Templeogue Synge Street in 2023.
Brandon tweeted: "No taxis to be got in Wexford, thumbing a lift from Curracloe to Wexford Town for the Fleadh.
"Chanced our arm with this man not knowing who he was, 10 minutes into the car journey he says his name. Didn’t know we're after jumping into the car with seven-time All-Ireland winner. Gent!!"
