Two-year contract: İlkay Gündoğan at Galatasaray

Galatasaray has signed a two-year contract with Manchester City's Turkish-German midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.

According to Galatasaray's statement, a contract was signed with 34-year-old Gündoğan until the end of the 2026-2027 season.

Gündoğan, who was transferred for free, will be paid 4.5 million euros annually for two seasons.

Gündoğan played 33 Premier League matches for Manchester City last season, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.

An agreement has been reached with Manchester City Football Club Limited for the free transfer of professional footballer İlkay Gündoğan. A contract has been signed with the player, valid until the end of the 2026/2027 season, under the following conditions:
