The Turkish National Men's Volleyball Team defeated Canada 3-0 at the 2025 World Championship and advanced to the last 16 round as group leaders.

Türkiye faced Canada in its third and final Group G match at the championship held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

The National Team defeated its opponent 3-0 in the leadership match with sets of 25-21, 25-16 and 27-25.

With this result, Türkiye secured the first three-game winning streak in the organization's history, finishing undefeated at the top of its group. The national team, which will compete in the Round of 16, defeated Japan 3-0 and Libya 3-1 in their first two Group G matches.

Canada, which suffered its first loss at the 2025 World Championship, advanced to the next round as second in its group.

Türkiye achieved its best finish at the World Men's Volleyball Championship in 2022, when it finished 11th.
